Acton is a district of west London, located in the London Borough of Ealing.

Alos Between Acton Town and Acton Central is the High Street and also some VERY nice areas indeed. Not dodgy dodgy, more like typical west london. As for dodgy dodgy estates around Gunnersbury Park, you’d better tell those folk paying upwards of 300,000 for their houses, because I’m sure they’d be surprised.
Is Peckham a rough area?
It’s a really good spot, and pretty affordable too. http://maps.met.police.uk/ gives you the crime figures by area for each part of London, you can tune it by what kind of crime and zoom right in. You’re most likely to get mugged or beaten up in the west end. Peckham is fine.
