The London Borough of Merton is a borough in south-west London. The borough was formed in 1965 by merging together the Municipal Boroughs of Mitcham and Wimbledon, and the Merton and Morden Urban District, all formerly within Surrey.

a very dangerous area and should be avoided. My family and I have been living in Mitcham for over 25. It has always been known as a troubled area, but certainly not as bad as it has become in the last five years.
