A City Law Firm comes to Croydon

An award-winning lawyer is bringing a branch of her law firm to Croydon, specialising in commercial law and surrogacy or LGBT community support.

Award-winning London lawyer, Karen Holden, is launching a division of her innovative law firm in Croydon. A City Law Firm (ACLF) held its official launch on 18th January at the Sussex Innovation Centre and will provide legal expertise to local businesses and individuals. ACLF specialises in commercial law and offers fixed rate packages to start-up and scale-up companies. In addition to preparing companies for investment or sale, the multi-award-winning firm is one of the leading solicitors in the UK for surrogacy and LGBT community support.

Prior to setting up her own firm ten years ago, Karen was a senior partner at an international law firm and regularly represented clients at the High Courts of Justice. In addition to a growing number of start-up clients, Karen represents high net worth individuals and celebrities for mediation, multinational disputes and high value complex disputes.

Karen said: “I am delighted to be launching in Croydon. We are a family-friendly law firm that wants to make legal support accessible to all. As a former start-up, I know how daunting it can be to seek legal advice especially when you think of the fees involved. To help combat this and to show our support for the start-up community, we offer affordable fixed fee packages. We also plan to host a regular number of free talks and events, showcasing our expertise with start-ups; scale-ups, those seeking investment or sale or specialist tech advice”.
